Scottsville: Thursday, March 30, 2023, at age 87. Predeceased by his wife, Sharri Lou (Robinson) Harris; son, Patrick John Harris. He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Romeo) Harris; children, Lisa (Thomas) Fitzgerald. David (Cathy) Harris, Terry Harris, Michelle Harris; grandchildren, Aaron (Julia) Jones, Alex (Cindy) Jones, Morgan Rae Jones. Garrett (Leigh) Fitzgerald, Sammy (Belen) Harris, Natalia Harris, Nicole (Giovanni) Dapice; great grandchildren, Mallory, John Patrick, and Olivia; brother, John (Jane) Peters of FL; many nieces and nephews.
Terry was a retired general manager from US Airways and a veteran of the British Royal Army Airborne Division. He was a counselor at State School at Industry for 25 years and a longtime lector and religious education teacher at St. Mary’s Church in Scottsville. Terry had a deep affection for his family and his cat, Winston. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
No prior calling. On Tuesday, April 11, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:30AM at St. Mary’s Church, 99 Main St., Scottsville. Interment, Holy Angels Cemetery. Those wishing, donations may be directed to Golisano Children’s Hospital, 300 East River Rd., Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627-8996 or to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 in his memory. Terry’s family would like to thank Michelle Lezo Home Care and their exceptional and caring staff for their loving and compassionate care given to Terry during his last weeks. Their care and dedication were crucial in fulfilling his final desire to pass away peacefully in the comfort of his home.
