O’Donovan, Thomas L. (“Tom”)
Thursday, April 27, 2023, age 69.Tom was born in Rochester, grew up in Greece, and graduated from Spencerport High School class of 1973. He is survived by his daughter, Lynne Erickson (Albertville, MN); son, Thomas O’Donovan; daughter, Heather Vega; and nine grandchildren, Destin Vega (19); Lincoln Vega (16); Porter Vega (14); Carlie O’Donovan (13); Christina Erickson (12); Evan O’Donovan (10); Alexa Erickson (8); Skyler Erickson (6); and Preston O’Donovan (5). Also survived by his sister, Cheryl O’Donovan, and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Cora O’Donovan; brothers, Edward (“Skip”) and Gary.
Tom was a loving father, doting grandfather, and a friend to all who knew and loved him. He was a fun-loving man known for his friendly disposition and often joking around. The majority of his working years were spent in the home improvement industry. In his active years he loved to be out on the open water boating, skiing, or fishing. Winters were spent at the slopes downhill snow-skiing.
At Tom’s request, no funeral or memorial services will be held. Interment will be held privately at the Holy Ghost Cemetery, Rochester.
