Gates: Friday, September 23, 2022, at age 84. Predeceased by his parents, Elvezio and Wanda Laurini; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Anthony and Mary Pancione. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Helen (Pancione) Laurini; children, Marianne Malone, Robert (Joanne) Laurini, John Laurini; grandchildren, Alicia, Michael and Brittany Malone, Amanda (Marco) Grugnale, Joseph Laurini, Nicholas and Gina Laurini; great grandchildren, Allie, Giovanni, Lucrezia and Marco; sisters, Tina (Giovanni) Santucci, Lucia (Oderisio) Giuliani all of Italy; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Peter and Debi Pancione of CA; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Laurini was an original member of the Rochester Lancers professional soccer team. He was an active member and coach for the Gates Soccer League. He later became the first women’s soccer coach at St. John Fisher College where he coached for 8 years. He was a former president and proud member of the Italian American Sports Club and was a retiree of Delco Products.
No prior calling. On Saturday, October 1, 2022, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at Parish of the Holy Family Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
