Gates: Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at age 73. Predeceased by his son, Ronald Briggs, Jr.; father and mother, Elmer and Martha Briggs; brother, Raymond Briggs. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Renate Briggs; daughters, Elizabeth (John) Grip, Heidi Whelan; granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Rachel Grip, Alanna and Danielle Whelan; great granddaughter, Ariel Whelan; brothers, Paul (Pauline) Briggs, James Briggs; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Briggs was a retiree of Meikle Automotion, a Marine Corps Veteran and an avid golfer.
Friends may call FRIDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Saturday morning, December 15, friends are invited to attend his funeral services at 10:00 in the funeral home. Interment, Grove Place Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 in his memory.
