Damelio, Mary (Cavallo)
Rochester: Sunday, June 19, 2016, at age 90. Predeceased by her husband, Anthony Damelio, Sr.; parents, Paul and Maria Cavallo; sisters, Carmella Cavallo and Antoinette Grugnale. She is survived by her children, Anthony Jr. (Marillyn) Damelio of OH, Anna (Steve) Avery, Bernard (Elaine) Damelio; grandchildren, Anthony III (Sharon) Damelio of NYC, Julia Damelio of OH, Robert Damelio, Steven (Tori) Avery; great grandson, Clayton; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Antoinette Romognolo, Elizabeth Russo, Joseph and Diane Damelio, Kathy Damelio; many nieces and nephews; her special caregiver, Vicky Alfano. Mary was former owner of Cavallo’s Meat Market and was known as the “Mayor of Smith Street”.
Friends may call WEDNESDAY from 5-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Thursday, June 23, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30 in Holy Apostles Church (Lyell Ave. and Austin St.). Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
