Peacefully, Saturday, December 31, 2016, at age 87. Predeceased by her husband, Peter Mastrodonato; daughter, Joanne (DeFazio) Catan; son-in-law, Steven Catan; parents, Mauro & Giovanna Colangelo; her sisters, Maria and Julia; brother, Louis. She is survived by her children, Daniel (Brenda) Mastrodonato, Marcella Mastrodonato,and Lisa (Ernie) DiFrancesca; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, John (Marie) Colangelo, Isabelle Kearney, Dolores Colangelo, Mickey (Ron) Mitchell, Italia Colangelo of Italy; sister-in-law, Antoinette Colangelo; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call THURSDAY 4:00-8:00 PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Friday, January 6, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30AM in St. Theodore's Church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory.
