Erasmo "Ray"  DiTucci
DiTucci, Erasmo “Ray”
Greece: Monday, February 13, 2017, at age 88. Predeceased by his father and mother, Antonio and Assunta DiTucci. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Franca (Camelio) DiTucci; children, Anthony DiTucci (Dona Surdi); Joseph (Cheryl) DiTucci, Susanne (Mark) Olek; granddaughters, Kara and Sarah DiTucci; their mother, Muriel Cook; grandsons, Matthew and Ryan Olek; sisters, Giuseppina Macera, Angelina Fedele of Italy; brother, Giuseppe (Salvina) DiTucci of Italy; sisters-in-law, Rosa D’Arienzo, Enza Camelio and Pina Leboffe all of Italy; many nieces and nephews.
Ray was born in Gaeta, Italy and emigrated to Rochester in 1956. He enjoyed gardening, winemaking, travelling to Italy, and loved spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow and watch them participate in their activities. He was also a retiree of RG&E after 35 years of service.
Friends may call THURSDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Friday, February 17, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00 at St. John Evangelist Church of Greece. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. John Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd., Rochester, NY 14626 in his memory. Ray’s family would like to thank Dr. John K. Chamberlain and the staff at Unity Hospital, Unit 2500 for their loving and compassionate care.
