Tom was a great friend. When I joined IBM in 1961 Tom took me under his wing and guided me through the various work processes and helped me get up to speed fast. We vacationed in Canada with his family and many others for many years and he was always coming up with creative things to do to keep everyone active like building a ski jump, attending the local auction to purchase a steer then roasting it all night for the entire group. Tom and Grace were personal friends and we will never forget their hospitality. May he rest in peace.
