Rochester: Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at age 76. Predeceased by his father and mother, John Jr. and Kathleen Stubbe; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sam and Rose Buonemani; brother-in-law, Gerald Hayes. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Nanette Stubbe; daughter, Kim (Michael) Rucinski of VA; sister-in-law, Marlene Hayes; nephew, Terry (Melissa) Hayes; niece, Lee Ann (Gabriel) Venticinque; great nieces and great nephews, Madelyn and Sean Hayes, Isabella and Gabriel Venticinque; many other relatives and friends. Les was a retiree of RG&E after 35 years of service.
No prior calling. On Saturday morning, May 27, friends are invited to attend his Memorial Funeral Service at 10:00 at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to American Heart Assoc., PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220 or to National Kidney Foundation, 310 Packetts Landing, Fairport, NY 14450 in his memory.
