Gates: October 13, 2017, at age 52. Predeceased by his father, Philip Maenza; grandparents, Frank and Carmella Todisco, Al Maenza. He is survived by his wife, Rae Ann (Sozio) Maenza; children, Nicholas and Danielle Maenza; mother, Arlene Maenza; brothers, Philip (Summer) Maenza, Alan (Laura) Maenza; grandmother, Jennie Maenza (John); father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tony and Mary Ann Sozio; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Michael) Wright; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. David was employed by the U.S. Postal Office and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Friends may call TUESDAY from 4-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Wednesday morning, November 29, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Theodore’s Church. Inurnment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Rochester Animal Services, 184 Verona Street., Rochester, NY 14608 in memory of David and his beloved dog, Madison.
