Rochester: Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at age 83. Predeceased by his wife, Mary (Goodrich) DiVincenzo in 1998; parents, John and Jennie DiVincenzo; brothers, Al, Sam, Frank (Mary) and Russell (Rose) DiVinzcenzo. John is survived by his son, John (Margaret) DiVincenzo; daughter, Ann M. (Anthony) Rizzo; grandsons, Anthony J. (Amy) Rizzo, John M. Rizzo; grand¬daughter, Deanna (Ken) Arellano; great grandsons, Jamie Arellano, Christopher Arellano, Tyler Rizzo and Jack Rizzo; sister, Frances Tracy; brother, Chuck (Deanna) DiVincenzo; sisters-in-law, Lois DiVincenzo, Margaret Rhode; nephews, Frank and Gino DiVincenzo, Rick Wazniak; nieces, Debbie Wazniak, Janet Nasello, Charlene Calabria, Donna Corbett, Sue and Nancy Rhode, Linda Vyrvoss, Audrey Pratt; many grand nieces and grand nephews; his dear friends, Debbie and Pete Covella, Kathy and John Picaretto, Marino and Bev Santillo, Anthony and Sheila Santillo, Deke Santillo, Trudy, Paul and Joanne Condolucci, Touie and Jim Ornt and families; “The Boys”, Bruce Stanton, Chris Gangi, Jimmy Barnum, Rick Allen, Joe Bellanca and Bill Mazullo. He was also predeceased by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bea and Otto Lang, John Tracy, Bernie Rhode, Helen Goodrich, Bill and Betty Goodrich; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Margaret Goodrich.
Our Dad enjoyed going to garage sales with son, John, attending concerts at the beach, traveling to Florida and Arizona to visit family and friends, going to The Public Market and spending time at the Auto Stop with the guys. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them. He worked for Lecesse Construction for over 35 years and was a member of Union Local 832.
Friends may call FRIDAY from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. Funeral services Saturday morning at 8:45 in the funeral home followed by his Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Theodore’s Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center c/o Lifetime Care, 3111 S. Winton Rd. Rochester, NY 14623 in his memory.
