Gates: Thursday, August 16, 2012, at age 87. Predeceased by her father and mother, Antonio and Rosa Amoruso. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Antonio Carelli; daughter and son-in-law, Donata and David Sands; grandson, Joseph Sands; sister, Margaret Pizzi; niece Elaine (Richard) Mastrangeli; great nieces, Lisa and Lori Mastrangeli.. Mrs. Carelli was a retiree of Hickey Freeman co.
Friends may call MONDAY from 4-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. Funeral services Tuesday morning at 8:45 in the funeral home followed by her Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Theodore's Church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Alzheimer's Assoc., 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory. Rosa's family would like to thank Dr. Ben Tarantino and his staff, and the staff at Latta Road A Nursing Home for the loving and compassionate care.
