Brongo, Vincenzina "Veni" (Vaudo)
Gates: Saturday, April 6, 2013, at age 84. Predeceased by her husband, Toby Brongo; daughter, Mary Grace Brongo. She is survived by her daughters, Ann (Don) Carusone, Annette (Gary) Kohl; grandchildren, Joseph (Meredith) Carusone, Anthony (Mandi) Carusone, Dena (Andy) Knight, Jeffrey, Gregory and Lindsay Kohl; great grandchildren, Mason, Kylie, Ariella, Madison and Avery; brother, Pasquale (Maria) Vaudo of Italy; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas Brongo, Florence and Dominic Monteneri; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brongo was a member of Gates Amita Club and was a participant in the "silver sneakers" at the Gates YMCA.
Friends may call WEDNESDAY from 4-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Thursday, April 11, friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:30 in St. Jude's Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Lifetime Care, 3111 S. Winton Rd., Rochester, NY 14623 in her memory. Veni's family would like to thank the staff at Park Ridge Living Center, Cottage 200 for their loving and compassionate care.
